Satisfactory cold working can be performed in an annealed state or in any 5454-h32 aluminum, H-34, or H-111 temper state. If cold working stress needs to be reduced, annealing can be performed at 650 F to allow sufficient time for thorough heating followed by air cooling.
  • The conductivity is 32% of that of copper
  • The shear strength varies slightly, from 23 Ksi in the annealing state to 26 Ksi in the H-34 state.
