What is difference of 5083 aluminium sheets and 5052 aluminum plates?

Alloy 5083 aluminum plate has higher strength and special thermal conductivity than 5052 plate. In the tempered state, it maintains good formability due to good ductility. It is very suitable for welding and can be hardened by cold work. Because 5083 alloy has excellent general corrosion resistance, it is used in marine applications. Because 5083 alloy can withstand extremely low temperatures without brittleness or performance loss, it is particularly suitable for the low temperature market. 5083 alloy is widely used in automobile armor plates because of its high strength coefficient.
