The post weld heat treating process known as “aging” is 600 degrees Fahrenheit as opposed to 6061 at over 900 degrees Fahrenheit, making it a simpler and quicker process. Most of the commercially available butted tubes are 7005. We offer material from a variety of producers including Dedacciai, Nova and custom pipes from TubePro.
