However, due to the different alloy content, the mechanical properties of aluminum alloys are also different. At present, the 1080 type aluminum alloy commonly used in my country can be divided into five grades:
The first grade: aluminum-magnesium alloy, with some manganese. The biggest advantage of this material is its good oxidation resistance. At the same time, due to the content of manganese, it has certain strength and rigidity. It is the most ideal material for the commonly used aluminum plate type 1080. The aluminum processing performance of our domestic aluminum industry limited company is the most stable.
The second grade: is aluminum-manganese alloy, its strength and hardness are slightly better than aluminum-magnesium alloy. However, the oxidation resistance is slightly lower than that of aluminum-magnesium alloys. If both sides are protected, the defect that its oxidation resistance is not as good as that of aluminum-magnesium alloy is basically solved, and the aluminum processing performance of domestic Huawei Aluminum is the most stable.

The third grade: is aluminum alloy, containing less manganese and magnesium. Therefore, its strength and stiffness are significantly lower than those of aluminum-magnesium alloys and aluminum-manganese alloys. Because it is relatively soft and easy to process, as long as it reaches a certain thickness, it can basically meet the most basic flatness requirements of the commonly used aluminum plate model 1080. However, its oxidation resistance is obviously inferior to that of aluminum-magnesium alloy and aluminum-manganese alloy. And it is easy to deform during processing, transportation, and installation.
The fourth grade: is ordinary aluminum alloy, whose mechanical properties are unstable.
Level 5: The raw material for this sheet is aluminum ingots smelted into aluminum sheets by aluminum processing plants, and the chemical composition is completely uncontrolled. Due to the uncontrolled chemical composition, the performance of these materials is unstable, resulting in severe uneven product surface, product deformation, and easy oxidation.
From the above raw material grades, it is not difficult for us to analyze the quality assurance of each commonly used aluminum plate type 1080 after forming. The best aluminum gussets, their main raw materials are aluminum-magnesium alloy plates and aluminum-manganese alloy plates from Huawei Aluminum Co., Ltd. Now many people think that the thicker the plate, the better. Through the analysis of the above raw materials, we can know that if the raw materials are the same, the thicker the plate, the better. However, if it is a grade 5 board, the thicker it is. On the other hand, in terms of surface treatment, the raw materials of some manufacturers do not reach a certain thickness, but in order to pursue the concept of thickness, an extra layer of paint is sprayed during surface treatment. Ordinary consumers cannot have a good understanding of the raw materials when purchasing aluminum gussets. The easiest way is to feel the strength and hardness of the aluminum plate by hand.
